Not sure on the Century,.. but on my Columbia my sleeper has its own condenser with its own lines for AC. It still uses the same heat exchanger on the front as the main AC,.. but the rest is independent of the main AC. Also has its own heater core and coolant lines for heat as well. Not sure how the control panel in the sleeper controls it all.

Start the truck and run the AC on Max with bunk cooler button pushed on dash controls. Run for 10 minutes then select opti idle while running. When the truck shuts off the bunk AC should take over. I have not tried the bunk cooler button.
