Open the save directory. Go to the new save you just made. copy the "Map_Sand.bin" file from the new save you just made into your old save game. The map_sand.bin is the settings for your game.I used to use JD-core, but when Project Zomboid moved to 41.51 that stopped working for me. dotPeek is written for .NET code, so it won't work for PZ since PZ is written in java. The game plays random sounds and spawns random bodies to give you the feeling that you're not alone. Despite sharing its name with the incorrectly entered frequencies, it has a single message at a specific time while the rest is filled with static.Right, I was playing around zomboid raiding houses and stealing stuff when all of a sudden there's a gunshot, a random gunshot. I did have a pistol on me but it was away in my bag and couldn't have fired. All of the zombies were drawn to it as a real shot, too. I followed the horde and couldn't find whatever fired the gun although I did find open windows and doors.In case anyone was wondering, I was experiencing this with the most recent build as of 1-18-2022. I found that the best way to fix it was to take it out of full screen and go into windowed. I haven't had an issue since and well if on the off chance someone else has the same issue, hopefully this solution will also help them..
