It looked sort of like a beehive sitting on ground or a piece of pottery and it said Sandstone along with the x to harvest it. I have looked some more but have not found it again. Is there a new type of reagent for sandstone or was this a figment of my imagination.

I farmed for blood moss by transmuting red mandrake in Savannah (Zafaria) and I farmed for stone block to transmute into sandstone to transmute into sunstone in stone town (zafaria), there’s a few sandstone spots in both of these places so keep an eye out. It might take ages unless you wait for double reagents though.

That's the best place for Stone Blocks I know of. Mist Wood is very common all over the Spiral, and Marleybone is no exception to that. I don't have a specific farming suggestion for this one, only the advice that you should ALWAYS pick up reagents you see, even if it's "just" Mist Wood! Doing so comes in handy from time to time 😉The best place for me to get sandstone is in floating mountains, Azteca. The area that gets spawns of sandstone is near the recipe vendor in Isla del Fuego.
